Janine Freeman was elected to Parliament at the September 2008 State Election as the local member for Nollamara, representing Alexander Heights, Nollamara, Mirrabooka, Koondoola, Westminster and parts of Dianella. Following the redrawing of boundaries, the seat of Mirrabooka was created, which includes Balga, Westminster, Alexander Heights, Mirrabooka, Koondoola and parts of Ballajura.

Starting as a telegram boy for the old Post Master General, Peter worked his way up through the ranks of the PMG and then Australia Post to become a Post Office manager. After running his own newsagency business in Denmark, Peter returned to Australia Post a few years before his election to Parliament. A keen middle distance runner and sub four minute miler, Peter represented Australia at the 1968 Olympics and 1974 Commonwealth games. Join the team to help in.
